Whom? (chi? Oggetto)
Ad esempio: Whom green towel is this? I found it on the bench! (Di chi è questo asciugamano verde? L’ho trovato sulla panca!)
Which? (Quale è?)
Ad esempio: Which cartoon is your son favourite? Mine is obsessed with Tom and Jerry! (Qual è il cartone preferito di tuo figlio? Il mio è ossessionato con Tom e Jerry!)
What? (Cosa?)

È bene tenere in mente, come già si sarà notato, che Do/Does/Did non si usano quando il soggetto è espresso con un pronome interrogativo.
Interrogatives with Suffixes
Di norma l’interrogativa si ottiene attraverso l’inversione del soggetto e del verbo all’inizio.Nei casi in cui si utilizza il verbo essere e il verbo avere, essi verranno concordati con il soggetto a cui si riferiscono.
Ad esempio si avranno frasi come:
Is Lisa ready to go?
Are they happy with their results in the test?
Am I going to be in trouble after all I have done?
Have you ever been to Japan?
Has you dad a screwdriver?
Nel caso, però, in cui le frasi saranno costruite utilizzando l’ausiliare do, esso alla terza persona singolare dovrà essere concordato con il soggetto e, per questo, si aggiunge il suffisso -es; si ottiene, dunque, does.
Ad esempio alcune frasi potrebbero essere le seguenti:
Does Peter know that the training is today and not tomorrow?
Does your cat always eats on the table like that?
Does anybody sing together in the choir or is there someone who is a soloist?
