- kiss diventa kisses; (I wish you would had given me a lot of kisses instead of one kiss during our wedding day but I think you can fix it on our honeymoon)
- watch diventa watches; (Robert is unbelievable! He bought himself other two watches when he has one beautiful and functioning watch at home)
- box diventa boxes; (The toddler wanted to put all his toys in one box but his mother showed him that if he had used more boxes, it would have been better)
- potato diventa potatoes. (My cousin was overwhelmed because in the same time she reached to peel one potato, her grandma had just finished to peel all the potatoes she had)

- radio diventa radios; (While I was driving I heard your interview on the radio and it was awesome! I think more radios will look for you in the future!)
- video diventa videos; (Mary had started some years ago by posting one video online about gluten-free recipes and now all of her videos are viral)
- photo diventa photos. (Marceline was asked to take a photo of the tourist group ahead the Tour Eiffel but she ended up shooting more photos, just to be sure)

- knife diventa kinives; (“Knives Out” is a really great film but the title had me think that I needed to sharp my bread knife)
- wife diventa wives; (When Susan became Ron’s wife, she decided to throw her bouquet to her friends in order to wish them to be wives)
- shelf diventa shelves. (Michael broke the shelf in his bedroom because he put too much books in it so he took advantage of buying more shelves)

Nomi con y e consonante

I nomi che terminano con la y preceduta però da una consonante cambiano tale y in i, prima di aggiungere la desinenza -es.

Alcuni esempio possono essere:
- city diventa cities. (Since I was a child I had never been to one city permanently because of my parent’s work but I also had the chance to visit lot of different cities)

- boy diventa boys, e non boies (Timmy is a good boy, he’s way more mature than the other boys in his football club, maybe I can be his friend)
