About a week ago, my brother, who studies at London university, suggested me

going with him to Scotland. We decided to travel by train in order to take our bikes

with us. We were able to travel around with the bike and so we spent very little

money.

As you know, students like us, we always have money problems / are short of

cash / cash flow problems.

We managed to visit a lot of places, some of them were beautiful, others less so.

The weather was good but il was a lot colder than we expected and / so we had to

buy some sweater. So we were forced to spend the money we had saved by

traveling by bike on clothes.
