The   last   film   I   saw   was   “Sole   a   catinelle”.   It’s   a   funny   movie   performed   by   Checco   Zalone.   He’s  

a  famous  comedy  actor  of  the  Southern  Italy.

In   this   movie   Checco   decides   to   quit   his   job   selling   vacuum   cleaners   door   to   door.   Initially  

sales  go  well  and  Checco  can  afford  to  surround  himself  with  valuables  and  the  latest  technol-­‐

ogy  leading  a  well-­‐off  life.  However,  when  the  market  begins  to  become  saturated  he’s  forced  

to  sell  everything,  even  furnishings  and  TV.  So,  the  holiday  in  the  seaside  resort  he  had  envi-­‐

sioned   with   his   son   was   transformed   into   an   unusual   adventure   in   the   hills   of   the   Molise   that  

takes  them  to  know  a  noble  family’s  mother.  

I   liked   very   much   this   film   because   it   takes   as   cue   the   contemporary   recession   to   laugh   at   the  

unhappy  period  in  which  many  Italian  families  can  mirror  themselves.

Il  futuro  con   will  è  composto  da  due  parti:  il  modale   will  +  la  forma  base  del  verbo  

Usi  

Il  modale   will  si  usa:  

1. Per  indicare  una  decisione  presa  mentre  si  sta  parlando.  

2. Per  indicare  un’attività  futura  che  non  dipende  dalla  volontà  di  chi  sta  parlando  o  per  

indicare  una  fase  di  un  processo.  

3. Dopo  i  verbi  che  esprimono  opinione  (sperare,  pensare,  aspettarsi..).  

4. Dopo  gli  avverbi  che  esprimono  certezza,  probabilità  e  possibilità.  

5. Nella  proposizione  principale  delle  frasi  in  cui  è  presente  il  condizionale.  

La  forma   Going  to  

Il  futuro  con  

going  to  è  composto  da  tre  parti:  

il  tempo  presente  del  verbo  essere  +   going  to  +  la  forma  base  del  verbo  

Usi  

Il   going  to  si  usa  per  parlare  di  attività  future:  

1. Per  indicare  un’azione  che  è  stata  già  decisa.  

2. Per  indicare  un’intenzione.  

3. Per  indicare  un’attività  futura  basata  su  una  situazione  presente.

a. She  won’t  need  the  new  data  by  tomorrow.

b. Sales  aren’t  falling.

c. It  isn’t  going  to  rain.
