The Mediterranean Diet
Many experts think that the Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest of the world, we can find this diet in the Mediterranean coastal region such as Europe, Spain and the Middle East. Mediterranean diet changes by region but is largely based on vegetables, fruits, olives, pulses, whole grains, olive oil and fish, along with little dairy and wine. It includes leisurely dining and regular physical activity. Following this diet you eat plant foods, monounsaturated fats, fish, a lot of pasta, bread and starchy foods and limited meat, you should prefer poultry rather than red meat. It is a good diet to lose weight because you eat low-fat, low-cholesterol and high-fiber and eating pulses and beans make you feel full and satiated and it is a fresh and seasonal diet. The Mediterranean diet is so much more than just a diet because is now included among UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage. It promotes social interaction, exchange of knowledge and culture.
People with eating disorders have abnormal attitudes to food that do them change their lifestyle. The most common eating disorders are anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge eating. People affection of Anorexia nervosa do not eat for do not increase weight, whereas bulimia is when you eat normally in public and in private they provoke vomiting or using laxatives. Binge eating is when people eat as much as possible all the day in secret. Someone is more likely to have eating disorders if he does not like himself, having a stressful situation, family history of eating disorders, bad experience or a death of someone special. Social Media and fashion industry can cause this kind of problem because you can see size-zero models so you think that they are considered as perfection so for following them you might have a drastic change in your life
