Come già accennato precedentemente, tra le misure con lo stesso errore è stata effettuata una
semplice media; tra quelle in cui esso è diverso è stata applicata la regola della media pesata in
modo da dare maggior importanza a quei valori accompagnati da un errore minore.

Tali errori sono risultati coincidenti con quelli del precedente prospetto delle sensibilità di misura
degli strumenti – assimilati poi all’errore totale sulle misure – quindi ho omesso una
differenzazione tra quelli e questo calcolato con le formule appena descritte.
6. Best-fit
Fare un best-fit vuol dire trovare quella retta che meglio approssima dei punti sperimentali.
Supponendo che l’equazione della retta sia del tipo Y = aX, lo scopo del best-fit è di trovare quella
retta (cioè il coefficiente a) per il quale
