Animal Farm: A Satirical Allegory of Soviet Totalitarianism

George Orwell, pseudonym of Erik Arthur Blair, was born in 1903, from a family of Scottish origins. Animal Farm is the most famous satirical allegory of Soviet totalitarianism, in general, and Stalinism, particularly. The Animal Farm, published in England in 1945, Orwell encountered several problems in publishing the work, for his irreverent content against the Soviet Union, which at the time, in full World War 2°, was an ally of the Kingdom United against Nazi Germany.
