LEZIONE 1 Attending studentssmall group of max 3 people, project with final presentation (20 minutes) 65% of the final markproject and send the written project 10 days after that 35% of the final markexam: multiple-choice and one open question ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR OB MODELthere are 3 different levels in order to analyze organization + 3 types of variables: - Individualpsychology: o INPUTSinputs are variables that set the stage for what will occur in an organization later. Many are determined in advance of the employment relationship. For example, individual diversity characteristics, personality, and values are shaped by a combination of an individual’s genetic inheritance and childhood environment:  personalities (don’t change over time)  values (principles that guide our actions and tent to remain stable over time)  diversities o PROCESSESactions that individuals, groups, and organizations engage in as a result of inputs and that lead to certain outcomes:  emotions and moods (come from the interaction of the individual and the environment and the relationships)  motivation (process and not a state)  perception (everyone has a different perception)  decision making o OUTCOMESmixing up inputs and see what the result is:  attitudes and stress (if the level of stress is high, it means that there is something wrong in the work and organization)attitudes are evaluations that employees make, ranging from positive to negative, about objects, people, or events, whereas stress is an unpleasant psychological process that occurs in response to environmental pressures. Successful organizations have employees who will do more than their usual job duties: today employees who engage in “good citizenship” behaviors help others on their team, volunteer for extra work, avoid unnecessary conflicts, respect the spirit as well as the letter of rules and regulations, and gracefully tolerate occasional work-  - - related impositions and nuisances. Organizations want and need employees who will do things that aren’t in any job description withdrawal behaviorIt is the set of actions that employees take to separate themselves from the organization. There are many forms of withdrawal, ranging from showing up late or failing to attend meetings to absenteeism and turnover. Employee withdrawal can have a very negative effect on an organization Group: o INPUTSin this case they are typically assig
