I like motorbikes and I have three Vespa Piaggio and one Ducati monster m900. They are all in excellent conditions. My hobby about motorbikes started when I was at high school. In that period my grandfather gave me my first Vespa...my first love! It was a Vespa special 50 cc made in Pontedera in the far 1971; it's wonderful! I love this one more than the others because it was a present from my grandfather . My second Vespa is a blue 1964 VBB2T, I had to work hard to restore it , because it was in a terrible condition; Now it's a jewel! My third Vespa is a grey 2001 PX.

I use it as a normal means of transport during my summer holidays. Then I bought another two Vespas four years ago; one in Naples and one in Rutigliano near Bari. Last year I bought a Ducati monster m900 in Florence. I prefer buying old Vespas to new ones because I love restoring them !!! and I think that I'll buy another old models in the near future . The main reason why I buy old models is that I like to restore them, in order to make them look as close as possible to the original version of when they were manufactured. When choosing an old Vespa I look at very important parameters which are: the registration number and the original documents, and of course the history of the scooter. I remember the 150 Vespa VBB2T's history; the previous owner toured all Italy with it!
Reconditioning vintage Vespas is exciting but difficult at the same time because it is not so easy to find spare parts for old models. But recently finding them has become easier thanks to internet and also to exchange shows. I prefer the last one rather than internet because I have the opportunity to meet lots of new people and to visit many new places. I've studied for a long time the technical characteristics and the history of the most popular scooter in the world and I enjoy myself and get lots of satisfaction by making all my motorbikes like brand new again. I Just think and... do it, without spending a lot of money. My first Vespa is a 1971 - 50 cc special , red limited edition. It's a fantastic little scooter. I remember when I went to high school with it or when I went to Rome with my friends. I love this one more than the others because it was a present from my grandfather . Ducati is the most important motorbike trade in the world! I take my Ducati monster m900 especially for long journeys! In fact I'll probably go to Taormina in Sicily , with my Ducati, this summer. This motorcycle is a sort of myth because it was the first naked motorbike in history. This bike is very powerful and it has an engaging design. In fact Ayrton Senna loved it.
