-What makes a good communicator?
I think that a good communicator must be a good LISTENER, he has to maintain EYE
CONTACT and have a RELAXED BODY LANGUAGE. I think it’s important the awareness of
body language because if you believe in yourself, people believe in you.
I think also that a good communicator must BE GOOD AT GIVING INFORMATION, he MUST
have FLUENCY IN THE LANGUAGE and an EXTENSIVE VOCABULARY. He mustn’t
confuse his listener and he must AVOID ABBREVIATION OR JARGON.
I think that an effective communicator must HAVE THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE with
colleagues, employees and customers because a good communication is important for any business.
-What forms of written and spoken communication can you think of?
There are different ways to communicate. I can communicate with people through written
communication like E-MAIL, TEXTING or MOBILE CHAT or with SPOKEN
COMMUNICATION like TELEPHONE, FACE TO FACE COMMUNICATION and
-Which of these do you like using? why?
I prefer face to face communication but sometimes it’s impossibile because of LONG DISTANCES
so i also like texting; I use WHATSAPP, a MOBILE CHAT. I like it because is QUICK AND
IMMEDIATE and i also can send pictures.
-What problems can people have with them?
There are some negative aspects of written communication like PROBLEMS RELATED TO
CONNECTION (you can’t continue the conversation) or E-MAIL SPAM (messages from someone
who we haven’t a relationship with)
There are also some negative aspects of spoken communication like a COMMUNICATION
BREAKDOWN BY PHONE and maybe you can’t hear. (in a interview if the interviewer is a
RAMBLING person we can have some misunderstanding).
-How do you think those problems can be solved?
By improving technology International marketing
-What are the advantages for a company of expanding beyond its domestic market?
The BRAND can become popular and international with more customers in different countries.
The brand can improve its net worth and make its image stronger abroad.
The ADVANTAGES are related to the possibility to buy RAW MATERIALS in large quantities
(bulks) at LOWER PRICES.
Advice: have a local general manager/be clear, be patient.
-What kind of problems do companies face when they go international?
When companies go international they probably could have problems about(the issues the company
could go through are: LOCAL CULTURE, like problems about language, colors, gestures, numbers,
habits and also they could not understand LOCAL DISTRIBUTION.
-What methods can companies use to enter overseas markets?

Indirect export: When they use an INTERMEDIARY
Direct export: When the handle exports themselves or THEY HAVE OVERSEAS SALES
Licensing: WHEN THEY SELL THE RIGHTS TO USE A TRADEMARK or a manufacturing
process in return for royalties
Joint venture: When 2 companies (one overseas and the other local) work together to develop a
Direct investments: When they buy a local firm or they set up their own subsidiaries
Wholesalers: generally buy a large quantity of products such as (telephones, computers, clothing)
directly from distributors.
Retailers: a retail can buy small quantities of an item from a distributor or a Wholesaler.
SWOT ANALYSIS: STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES, THREATS.
STEP ANALYSIS: SOCIOLOGICAL, TECHNOLOGICAL, ECONOMIC, POLITIC
USP: UNIQUE SELLING POINT
DELLA VALLE: WE ARE A LUXURY-GOODS COMPANY, NOT A FASHION COMPANY.
ITALIAN ATMOSPHERE IS CENTRAL TO TOD’S GLOBAL EXPANSION.
-What are the most important relationship for you at your place of study? and outside your place of
I think that the most important relationship is the FRIENDSHIP. I have know my best friends before
i went to university so i MAINTAIN all the relationship with my friends although i studied in
Milan and Madrid.
In Madrid i BUILD UP my best friendship with a student from this university.
I think that a person in a relationship must be HONEST and TRANSPARENT and the most
important FEATURE in a relationship is the TRUST. If there aren’t any of this factors I usually
BREAK OFF the relationship.
-What benefit do you get from each relationship?
I think EVERYONE get benefits from each relationship and it depends on the VALUE (and
reliability) of the person with you BUILD UP the relationship. For example you feel safe when
you’re with your boyfriend/girlfriend and you feel happy when you’re with your friends.
-Factors to build up a strong business relationship
Companies should know the PROFILE of the customers. They should COMMUNICATE
REGULARLY. In a good BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP there are important factors like
TRUST(trustworthy), HONESTY. (CLEAR AND TRANSPARENT with the products on the
