- Have a good time, a bad day, a nice evening, a party, a holiday, a game
- Have a good flight/trip/journey
- Have a conversation

- Vocale + y: ay, ey, oy, uy aggiungo -S
- Consonante + y: dy, ly, py, ry, … la y diventa -IES
Uso:
- Parlare di cose che sono sempre vere
- Di abitudini e azioni che accadono ripetutamente
- Con espressioni che dicono quante volte, quanto spesso: ALWAYS, NEVER, OFTEN, SOMETIMES, ONCE A DAY, TWICE A WEEK, EVERY YEAR, ALL THE TIME, …
Non uso:
- Per parlare di qualcosa che sta accadendo ora si usa il present progressive
- Per dire quanto a lungo dura una cosa si usa il present perfect
Present progressive
- + Soggetto + verbo be + verbo –ING: I am working
- - Soggetto + verbo be not + verbo -ING: I am not working
- ? Verbo be + soggetto + verbo -ING: Am I working?

In generale: aggiungo -ING
- Con verbi che terminano in e: Tolgo la –e ed aggiungo -ING
- Verbi che terminano in -ie: Ie diventa Y + ING
- Con verbi che terminano in:
- Una vocale + consonante: Doppia consonante + -ING
- Due vocali: NON RADDOPPIANO
- Due consonanti
Uso:
- Parlare di azioni che stanno accadendo ora o in un tempo immediatamente circoscritto
Non uso:
- Per dire quanto a lungo dura una cosa si usa il present perfect
Verbi senza la forma progressive
- Importanti: HATE, HOPE, KNOW, LIKE, LOVE, MEAN, NEED, PREFER, SEEM, UNDERSTAND, WANT
- Comuni: AGREE, BELIEVE, DEPEND, MATTER, MIND, RECOGNISE, REMEMBER
