The Teacher provides the ss with a handsout
The teacher pairs the ss and then shows a video asking them to take notes on
the key concepts they understand

The PwD is given a transcript of the video and paired with a gifted student
After the Teacher has played the video twice she asks the students to answer
the “true or false” excercise
After they are done she corrects the excercise and reinforces some lack of
knowledge that may occur, revising the main features of the Augustan Age and
of the Rise of The Novel
STUDY - 20”
The teacher provides the ss with a handsout on Daniel Defoe’s life and work.
SS are supposed to read it aloud and the teacher checks on their
pronounciation and understanding with some “comp-check” questions,
involving gifted ss who may give the explanation to the difficulties that may
arise.
PwD is given a bigger copy of the handout with highlighted key words
Then, ss are supposed to complete excercise 1 giving evidence on their
notebook, while the PwD has only to underling the text for each requested point
The teacher checks on the given answers and provides reinforcement if needed
The teacher explains the ss that they have to click on the interactive video
excercise link she has previously uploaded on classroom
After the ss are done she checks on their outcome and reinforces some lack of
knowledge that may occur.
ACTIVATE - 20”
The teacher divides the class into 2 groups with 2 gifted ss each.
The teacher assigns the plot of Robinson Crusoe to the first group, and the
one of Moll Flanders to the second group. Every student will be provided
with a handout.
The teacher explains that they are supposed to prepare a presentation on
Canva/Powerpoint, describing the plot and providing their expectations and
predictions on the main themes and features of the novel.
After they conclude their work, they are asked to present it in front of the
class.
The PwD is given the responsibility to scroll the slides while the others are
presenting, in order to lower the work load and the pressure on him.
Once every group has presented its plot, the students raise their hands to
express their preference on which work they liked more.
The teacher explains that she is going to take into account their
preferences
Homework
The Teacher asks the student to complete a fill in the gaps
