A girl goes at the Natural Science museum of Philadelphia. She sees a teacher Miss Aitcheson whit hers elementary class that is seeing snakes. The assistant teaches the children to learn the feel of them, to lose their fear. The teacher, a city woman who never handled a snake in her life was pale. An assistant puts a green snake around the teacher’s neck, she feels horror but resists. The assistant asks if some child wants to touch the snake around the teacher and three child touch the snake.
The schoolchildren think that she isn’t brave, but when the snake begins to move, she runs terrorized. The child laugh and the girl comes back home.Moral: Not always the people are as they feel.
