He wrote only 5 novels including his two mostepieces: Howard’s End (1910) and A Passage to India (!924). Rother than with plot, his main concern is with the complexity of characters which he usually presents while caught in the clash between different cultures. At home every citizen is spied on by a telecamera, the hero is Winston Smith is an intellectual and a member of the party who eventually rebels against this system, he enjoys a brief love affair with another rebel Julia, but in the end the thought Police arrests him and he is brain washed into conformity again.
