Report on a survey: Eating habits
Do you think it is important to have a substantial dinner?
Aim
The aim of this report is to summarize the results of a survey about the eating and drinking habits of the 20 students of my class. The students were asked to answer to a questionnaire independently.
Results
The majority of the students interviewed usually have dinner between 7:30 and 8:30 pm, at their home. They usually try to eat lightly, consuming meat, vegetables and a lot of fruit.
Surprisingly, a 15% of the students often have dinner in pubs or at some friends’, with pizza or other take-away food, at variable times between 9:00 and 11:00 pm.
Most students consider that a substantial dinner is important, but that this doesn’t mean eating too much. They tend to avoid pasta the most because they are not going to burn the calories before going to bed. The 45% of the interviewed students said that after they have a big dinner, they cannot usually sleep well.
Conclusions
To sum up, it is not important to have a substantial dinner but a balanced and healthy one, and most students usually consume a regular meal.
