Description of a typical week-day
As usual, Ian woke up at 7:45 am and he was late for school. He quickly washed his face, dressed up and got his school-bag ready. Not having time for a proper breakfast, he drank the glass of orange juice and picked up the sandwich that his mother had made ready for him before she went to work. He would eat it on the way. He ran to the bus stop and took the bus just in time. Thanks to another sprint he arrived at school as the bell rang. He had two hours of maths and after a 15 minutes break in the school garden, one more hour of history and one of science. At 1 pm school finished and Ian had lunch with some friends at a nearby bar. They talked a little and played a game of soccer-table before going to the afternoon lessons: two hours of Italian. At the end of the school day, at 4 pm, Ian went back home by bus and changed clothes and bag. After a quick snack he went to the football training from 5 o’clock to 6:30. At the end of the training he was really tired, but took the bus home, had a shower and then dressed for dinner. Unenthusiastically, he helped his mother setting the table, which is normal routine in Ian’s house. After dinner he completed his English homework for the following day, then he watched a movie on TV and finally he went to bed at about 11 pm.
