Derivabilità delle funzioni inverse

Arcotangente

Invertibile [-π⁄2', π⁄2]
Darctgy = 1⁄1+tg2y = 1⁄1+x2
N.B. cotg x = cos x⁄sen x
Arcocotangente
y = arccot x
x = cotg y
f'(x) = 1⁄D[cotg y] = -1⁄-1-cot 2y = 1⁄-√1-x2
- Esempio y = |x| → y' = { -1 x<0; 1 x>0.
- ∃ ma limx→x0- f'(x) = ±∞, limx→x0+ f'(x) = ∓∞.
- Esempio y = ³√|x| = y' = { 1 / 3√x2 x>0 → +∞; -1 / 3√x2 x<0 → −∞.
- Se ↑ limx→x0- f'(x) = +∞ anche quello da sinistra.
- Esempio y = x1/3 x = y' = 1 / 3√x2 = +∞ = limx→0.
Sia \(f:[a,b] \rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) continua in \([a,b]\) e derivabile \((a,b)\) allora \(\exists \, c \in (a,b)\) .c.
\[f'(c) = \frac{f(b) - f(a)}{b - a}\]
Coefficiente angolare della tangente = coefficiente angolare della secante.
Dimostrazione
Data \(g(x) = f(x) - \left[ \frac{f(b) - f(a)}{b - a} \right] \cdot (x - a)\)
\(y - b\) eq retta secante e grafico di \(g\) agg tangenti.
\(\Rightarrow g(x)\) è continua e derivabile, inoltre \(g(a) = g(b) = 0\), inoltre \(g\) è derivabile in \((a,b)\).
1° caso \(g(x)\) è costante in \([a,b]\) \(\Rightarrow g'(x) = 0\)
\[0 = g'(c)x = f'(x) - \frac{f(b) - f(a)}{b - a}\]
f : (a, b) → ℝ derivabile.
- f è monotona crescnteùa (a, b) ⇔ f'(x) > 0 iu (a, b).
- f è monotona decrescente ⇔ f'(x) ≤ 0 iu (a, b).
- f'(x) > 0 ⇒ f è monotona crescente in (a, b).
