Beyoncé ha ricevuto il maggior numero di candidature in un singolo anno, nove, confermandosi come artista con più nomination nella storia dei Grammy, seguita da Kendrick Lamar con otto e Adele con sette. La cantante ha battuto anche un altro record: vincendo il premio per il miglior album nella categoria "best dance/electronic music", ha conquistato il suo 32° Grammy, diventando l’artista più premiata di sempre.Tuttavia la miglior registrazione dell'anno è andata a "About Damn Time" di Lizzo, la miglior canzone è invece "Just Like That" di Bonnie Raitt e il miglior album è "Harry's House" di Harry Styles.
