Si usa going to per parlare di

-qualcosa che si intende fare (un’intenzione)
She’s going to be a dentist.
Farà la dentista.

-Una previsione molto probabile o imminente (una previsione)
look at the dark clouds. It’s going to rain

in entrambi i casi la forma affermativa si forma:

soggetto+ am/are/is going to+ forma base del verbo

I am going to work
You are going to work
He/she/it is going to work
We are going to work
You are going to work

In entrambi I casi la forma negativa si forma:

soggetto+ ‘m not/aren’t/isn’t going to +forma base del verbo

You aren’t going to work

In entrambi I casi la forma interrogativa si forma.
