Si usa going to per parlare di ciò che si decide o si intende fare nel futuro. Esrpime un'intenzione futura.
"I'm going to a be mechanic: Farò il meccanico"
Forma affermativa:
I am going to study science.
He\She\It is going to study science.
You\We\You\They are going to study science.
Soggetto+am\is\are+going to+ forma base del verbo

Forma negativa:
I am not going to study science.
He\She\It is not going to study science.
You\We\You\They are not going to study science.
Soggetto+am\is\are+not+going to+verbo base del verbo

Forma interrogative e risposte brevi:
Are you going to leave?

No, I'm not.
