Alice in Wonderland - Spettacolo bilingue

In scena, seduta a terra con una corolla di margherite giganti, Alice conta i petali e nel mentre sbadiglia annoiata. Una quinta o un muretto finto o una scatola, nasconde
Una piccola porta in cartone ovviamente, una grande bottiglia sulla quale c’è scritto “bevimi”.
On stage: seated on the round wiht a gigantic daisy chain in her hands, Alice is counting the petals. She yawns. She is bored. A fake wall hidews a small cardboard door and there is a large bottle wiht the words ‘Drink me’ written on it.

Alice uno…due…tre…quattro…cinque…sei…sette…otto…
One…..two…three…four…..five….six….seven…eight.
(guarda il cielo) meraviglioso giorno…un cielo fantastico…ma io sono stanca
what a wonderful day…a beautiful sky,,,but I’m bored because
perché nessuno gioca con me. Ho sonno e voglio dormire. Qui,
I’ve got nobody to play with. I’m tired an I want to sleep…right
in questo bel prato verde.
Here in this wonderful field.
(riprende a contare) uno…due…tre…(nel sonno )
one…two…three (in her sleep)
mentre sta contando entra su di una musica buffa e comica un coniglio bianco saltellante che si piazza proprio vicino ad Alice, senza guardarla. Alice si sveglia.
Alice è divertita.
Il coniglio estrae dal gilet un’orologio e guarda le ore.
While she is counting, a jumping white rabbit eners the stage to comical music and stands right next to Alice, without looking at her. Alice wakes up. She is amused.
The rabbit takes a clock out from his waiscoat and looks at the time.
Coniglio Troppo tardi…non c’è tempo, non c’è tempo !
It’s late! It’s late! There’s no time, no time!
Devo andare ! Devo andare !
I must go! I must go!
Alice Dove ? Ferma ! Gioca con me ! Come ti chiami ??
Where? Stop! Play with me! Whgat’s your name?
Io sono Alice ! E tu chi sei ??
I’m Alice! And who are you?
Coniglio Sciocca non vedi ?? Sono un coniglio
Silly girl! Can’t you see? I’m a rabbit.
Il coniglio saltando corre via dalla scena sempre sulla stessa musica.
(The rabbit runs away, jumping, from the scene to the same comic music he entered the stage.)
Alice si alza e lo segue. Sparisce dietro alle quinte. Ricompare con un cambio luci
In un posto che è sempre lo stesso ma nella storia dovrebbe essere una strettoia buia
(si farà buio). Musica adatta. Nella sua entrata Alice, sposta con il corpo la scatola
lasciando in vista la piccola porta.
Alice gets up and follows him. She disappears behind the curtains. She reappears to a change of lights in the same place but a place that has become a dark alley (it will get dark). Suitable music. As she enters stage, Alice’s body moves the box, so that the small door is visibile.

(si guarda in giro e vede la porticina talmente piccola che per guardarla deve sdraiarsi a terra).
(she looks around and sees the little door which is so small that in order to look at it she has to lie down on the ground.)
Alice Lo so …questa è una porta, una bella porta e vicino c’è una
I see…this is a door, a lovely door and near to it is a little key
Piccola chiave, una bella chiave…(la prova)…funziona !!
A lovely key (she turns it in the keyhole)….it works!
Adesso guardo …C’è un meraviglioso giardino con tanti fiori :
Now I’ll take a look…there’s a marvellous garden with lots of
Margherite, viole e rose.
Flowers, daisies, violets and roses.
Vedo una casa molto bella con tante stanze colorate : rosse, gialle,
I can see a lovely house with lots of different coloured rooms: red,
verdi, blu, rosa…e ci sono tante porte, ma io sono troppo grande
yellow, blue, pink….and there are some doors, oh! But I’m too big
e non posso entrare
to get inside!
Musica comica-divertente sulla quale Alice tenta di entrare nella porta, con un dito, con un piede…ma impossibile !
Poi vede una bottiglia (che era nascosta) grande sulla quale c’è scritto “BEVIMI”.
Si rivolge ai bambini e chiede aiuto.
(Comic music whilst Alice attempts to get through the door, with her finger, her foot
but it’s impossible! Then, she sees a big bottle (which was hidden) with the words “Drink Me” written on it. She turns to the children and asks for help.)
Alice Cosa devo fare ? bevo o non bevo ? Bevo o non bevo ?
What shall I do? Shall I drink it or not? Yes or no?
Oh but I’m so thirsty!
(She smells it and pulls off the cork and then she drinks it.)
Musica particolare sulla quale Alice mima un disagio del corpo.
(Appropriate music to which Alice mimes physical discomfort.)
ALICE Le mie mani…la mia testa…le mie gambe… cosa è ?
My hands….my head….my legs…what’s happening?
Aiuto !!Mi sto accorciando….(si nasconde dietro lo scatolone)
Help!! I’m gettino smaller!....(She hides behind the big box)
Su di una musica buffa, compare una piccola bambolina che sarà manovrata dal personaggio che interpreta Alice. Entra il coniglio bianco.
(Comic music, a small doll appearswhich will be manipulated by Alice. The white rabbit enters stage.)
Coniglio Oh, povera Alice !! Tu sei molto piccola…(la prende)
Oh poor Alice!! You’re so small…(he picks her up)
Alice Aiuto !! Sono piccola, piccola . Sono troppo piccola !!
Help!! I’m small, small. I’m too small!!
Coniglio Vieni con me !! devo andare ! devo andare ! e’ molto tardi !
Come with me!! I must go! I must go! It’s very late!
Esce. Musica sulla quale molto lentamente entra Miriana che porta una grande torta di cartone . Miriana sarà nascosta dietro alla torta e si dovrebbe avere l’immagine di una torta che cammina da sola. Le si vedono le gambe. Sopra un pezzo di questo cartone con la torta disegnata.
Ci sarà incollato un pezzo di dolce vero cosicché l’attrice “Alice” potrà staccarlo e mangiare. Rientra Alice in misura normale (ovviamente).
(He exits. Music whilst Miriana very slowly enters stage carrying a huge cardboard cake. Miriana will be hidden behind the cake giving the impression of a cake walking by itself. Only her legs will be on view. Above her legs a cardboard cake will be on view. A piece of real cake will be stuck on to this fake cake so that Alice can take it off and eat it. Alice comes back on stage, normal size.
Alice (si avvicina stupita alla torta)
(She approaches the cake, shocked)
Molto strano …è molto grande ! Una torta gigante !
How strange….it’s very big! A gigantic cake!

Alice Ma….non posso ! sei grande…tu parli !

Dopo averla gradita con espressioni mimiche, la torta se ne va e Alice si nasconde dietro alla scatolona sempre in scena (che ha la funzione di permettere all’attore di
Far uscire i vari oggetti senza essere visto)
Alice obviously enjoys eating the cake (mimics expressions). The cake exits and Alice hides behind a big box which allows the actress to take out various objects without being seen.)

Entra in scena il coniglio bianco con la regina di cuori che fa delle facce buffissime.
Non vedono Alice che nel frattempo spinge fuori dalla scatola una scarpa attaccata ad un piede che si allunga sempre più (gamba di un tavolo ricoperta con calze uguali a quelle che indossa l’attrice Alice). Si vede tutto il corpo di Alice.
The white rabbit enters with the Queen Of Hearts who is making silly faces. They do not see Alice who is pushing a leg with a shoe attached to it from behind the big box. The leg gets longer and longer (the leg has the same tights as those worn by Alice). The whole of Alice’s body can be seen.
Coniglio Regina, mia regina, quanti anni hai ?
Queen, my queen, how old are you?
Regina Cento anni, caro coniglio
A hundred years old, my dear Rabbit.
Coniglio regina, mia regina, come stai ?
Queen, my dear queen, how are you?
Regina (si mette a piangere disperatamente)
(She starti crying)

Very bad, my dear rabbit, very bad indeed!

Regina guarda il mio vestito…è bianco e rosso
Look at my dress……it’s white and red.

La regina e il coniglio si accorgono di questo fatto e si mettono a ridere divertiti , mentre il coniglio guarda di nuovo l’orologio e dice…
The Queen and the Rabbit realiste this and start to laugh, amusedly, whilst the rabbit checks his watch again and says….
Coniglio E’ tardi !! E’ tardi !! devo andare !! (ed esce)
It’s late!! It’s late!! I must go!! (Exits)
Regina (guardando la bambina distesa a terra ) Tu sei molto carina
(looking at the girl who is lying on the round) You are
Ma le tue gambe sono troppo lunghe…ti faccio arrestare !!

Guardie !! Guardie !!
Arrested!!! Guards!! Guards!!
Musica sulla quale la regina esce ed entra il coniglio con una grande boccetta di sciroppo.
(Music whilst the queen exits and the rabbit enters stage with a huge bottle of cough mixture.)
Coniglio Eccomi qui, Alice ! Ora bevi !!
Here I am, Alice! Now, drink this!!
Alice perché??
Why???
Coniglio se tu bevi questo liquore, tu ritorni normale.
If you drink this you will return to normal
Alice Ohh! Meraviglioso !! Io voglio bere , tutto !
Oh how wonderful!! I want to drink it, all of it!
Musica sulla quale le gambe si accorciano, le braccia anche e Alice si alza in piedi normale sotto lo sguardo del coniglio che si dà un sacco di importanza.
Music whilst Alice’s legs and arms return to their normal size. Alice stands up and is completely normal again whilst the rabbit looks on with an important air.

The Hatter is mad.

Musica sulla quale Alice ed il coniglio escono. Dalla parte opposta entra il cappellaio matto che ha ovviamente uno strano cappello (anche più di uno)
Sulla testa. Metterà una tovaglia sulla scatolona, così la trasforma in una tavola e sopra ci metterà una torta finta. Sulla tavola un solo bicchiere molto grande, un calice. Lui si mette al centro. (si potrebbe inserire una canzone buffa registrata).
Music whilst Alice and the rabbit exit. From the opposite side of the stage, the Mad Hatter enters, with a strange hat on his head (more than one). He puts a tablecloth on the big box thereby transforming it into a table and he puts a fake cake on it. Only one very big glass is on the table. He goes centre stage (silly song)
Alice ed il coniglio entrano e si mettono uno a destra e l’altro a sinistra del cappellaio.
Alice and the rabbit come on stage, one to the left and the other to the right of the Mad Hatter.

(Hands the glass to Alice so that she can drink and as she reaches out her hand to get it, he pulls it away.)

Il cappellaio ciondolerà la testa un po’ sulla spalla del coniglio e un po’ sulla spalla di Alice.
Musica ritmata adatta al caso. Buffa .
The Mad Hatter will rest his head on the rabbit’s shoulder and then on Alice’s.

Alice Ora mangio la mia merenda. E’ qui nella mia tasca: un grande
Now I’ll eat my snack. Here in my pocket, I’ve got a big
biscotto che ha preparato la mia mamma
biscuit that my mummy made.
Improvvisamente il cappellaio si sveglia allungando la mano per prendere il biscotto.
Mentre Alice sta per mangiarlo, il cappellaio glielo prende .
Suddenly the Hatter wakes up and stretches out his hand to take the biscuit. Just as Alice is about to eat it, the Hatter grabs it.

Le loro voci vengono coperte da una musica (come la precedente).

nel mio prato. OHH ! La mia gatta mi aspetta.
I want to go back to my field. OOOhhh my cat is waiting for me!
Ma…da che parte ?? di qua o di là ?(ripete più volte invitando i bambini a ripetere) But which way should I go? This way or that way? (repeats invitino children to repeat phrase with her.)
Inizia una simpatica pantomima sulla quale il cappellaio ed il coniglio fanno a gara per portarsi Alice dalla parte che ognuno crede quella giusta.
The Hatter and the rabbit both try to get Alice to go in the direction they think is the right one.)
Alla fine il coniglio ed il cappellaio spariscono da parti opposte e Alice stanca, si sdraia sbadigliando a terra, addormentandosi.
In the end, the rabbit and the Hatter disappear and Alice, who is tired, yawns and lies down on the ground and falls asleep.
Dopo un po’ si sveglia. E’ sola.

The Rabbit comes in on tiptoe, very quietly.
