I vincitori dell'MTV VMA 2024

Gli MTV Video Music Awards 2024 hanno celebrato un anno di musica con premi ai migliori videoclip e alle migliori canzoni degli ultimi 12 mesi. L'evento, giunto alla sua 40ª edizione, si è svolto alla UBS Arena di Long Island, New York, ed è stato condotto da Megan Thee Stallion. 

Sul palco si sono esibiti artisti di spicco come Eminem, LL Cool J, Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Benson Boone, Anitta, Karol G, Camila Cabello e Halsey.

Tuttavia, la serata ha avuto una protagonista indiscussa: Taylor Swift, che ha fatto la storia della manifestazione facendo incetta di premi.

Quanti VMA ha vinto Taylor Swift nel 2024?

Taylor Swift ha dominato gli MTV VMA 2024, aggiudicandosi ben sette premi su dodici nomination. Tra le vittorie più importanti, spicca il premio per il video dell'anno con il brano Fortnight in collaborazione con Post Malone, tratto dal suo undicesimo album The Tortured Poets Department. Con questo riconoscimento, Taylor è diventata la prima artista nella storia dei VMA a vincere per due volte la categoria di artista dell'anno e ha consolidato il suo primato con 30 premi Moonmen in carriera, superando il record di Beyoncé, ferma a 26. Swift ha anche stabilito un altro primato: è l'unica artista ad aver vinto cinque volte il premio per il miglior video dell'anno.

Il premio per la miglior canzone dell'anno, invece, è andato a Sabrina Carpenter per il brano Espresso, contenuto nell'album Short n' Sweet, che ha raggiunto la vetta della classifica US Billboard 200.
