Introduction to my work
It sounds futuristic but today the technological world’s main focus is to automate every possible thing to take advantage in providing ease in life.
Home Automation, also known as domotics is one among the different types of automations.
Home automation has been a feature that has fascinated me for a long time because it combines two topics that interest me particularly: the electro technology and informatics.
Thanks to its potential, this system allows people, as I will explain below, to facilitate their lives.
An automated home is the home of the future as it is an improvement in lifestyle for all its users, who may, in accordance with their needs, customize the home adding features that in some cases, for people with disabilities, can finally afford a 'self-sufficiency until now unimagined, or achieved only through the help of other people.
Nevertheless, the home automation, having a high technological content, is a consequence of continuous scientific progress, and its origins date back to the second industrial revolution.
The movement which exalted the scientific progress in the first place was the Positivism.
It was a philosophical and cultural movement, born in France in the first half of ‘800 and then spread in the second half of the century in Europe and worldwide.
It is characterized by trust in scientific progress and for the attempt to apply the scientific method in all spheres of knowledge and human life.
The modern sense of the approach was developed by the philosopher Auguste Comte in the early 19th century.
Comte argued that, much as the physical world operates according to gravity and other absolute laws, so does society
Under the direct influence of the climate of Positivism, that is the absolute faith in science, the experimental method and unfailing research, the Verismo was born.
The movement tends to describe the life of the humble people, outcasts from society who rush in the fight for survival against the inevitability of fate.
One of its main exponents was Giovanni Verga best known for his
.
depictions of life in his native Sicily, and the novel I Malavoglia I Malavoglia deals with a family of fishermen who work and live in Aci Trezza.
In this novel Verga adopts the impersonality technique, reproducing some features of the dialect and adapting himself to the point of view of the characters.
Impianto domotico
Suddivisione dell'impianto in:
