Falling out with someone is a very sad experience. What would you do if you had a problem in your relationship with your best friend?
Falling out with someone is a very sad experience, especially when you have a row with one of your close friends. If I had a problem with my best friend, I would try to talk things through calmly and with respect. I really look up to my best friend and admire her honesty, so I would never look down on her because of an argument. Good friends and old friends are more important than pride. I think disagreements can turn friends into acquaintances or even enemies if they are ignored, but sincere communication can help save a true friendship.

A friendship can lead you to discover interesting things about yourself?
In my opinion, a friendship can help you discover interesting things about yourself, especially when it is a real and deep friendship. In my case, my best friend has qualities that are very different from mine: she is more outgoing, while I am more reserved. Because of this, I realised that I can step out of my comfort zone when I feel supported. At the same time, we have many things in common, such as similar values and the same sense of humour, which made me understand how important loyalty is to me. Thanks to this friendship, I discovered that I am more open and understanding than I used to think.

Dear Giorgia
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems with your boss. In my opinion, the first thing you should do is try to understand whether there is a communication problem. For example, you could ask for a short meeting to clarify expectations and avoid misunderstandings. Another useful step would be to become a key figure in an important project: when your boss sees you taking responsibility, they are more likely to trust you. Finally, make sure you clearly show your commitment towards the company by being punctual, proactive and reliable. These concrete actions can really help improve your relationship at work.
Best wishes,
Giada

Some say that we all are destined to extinction and that the planet is able to cure itself. What do you think?
Some people argue that humanity is destined to extinction and that the planet can heal itself without us. I partly agree with this view. Nature has strong self-regulating systems, and after natural disasters ecosystems often recover through biodiversity and ecological balance. However, human activity has accelerated climate change, pollution, and deforestation at an unprecedented rate. Unlike other species, we are aware of the damage we cause and can act responsibly. Through sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental protection, we can reduce our ecological footprint. Therefore, extinction is not inevitable: the future of both humanity and the planet depends on our collective choices and environmental awareness.

Should cars be banned (prohibited) from city centres?
In recent years, traffic in city centres has become a serious problem. In my opinion, cars should be banned from city centres for several reasons. First of all, excessive traffic causes air pollution and high noise levels, which negatively affect both the environment and people’s health. Moreover, congested roads make cities less safe and less pleasant for pedestrians. Another important point is that there are other possible means of transport, such as public buses, trams, bicycles and electric scooters. These alternatives are more sustainable and efficient. Therefore, limiting car access could improve quality of life and make city centres cleaner and more liveable.

What is more important? Protecting the environment or improving people’s standard of living?
I have recently read an article in a specialised magazine discussing whether protecting the environment is more important than improving people’s standard of living. The author explains that better living conditions often lead to environmental damage: better jobs increase waste production, while better housing causes greater urbanisation and loss of natural spaces. In my opinion, environmental protection should come first, because without a healthy planet economic progress is meaningless. However, the article also suggests that sustainable development can balance both aims. I agree with this view: improving living standards is important, but it must be done responsibly, respecting the environment and future generations.

How has tourism affected your city?
Tourism has had a strong impact on my city and on my daily life. On the positive side, tourists clearly help the local economy: my uncle works in a small restaurant near the histor
