This dish is very special and traditonal; it is eaten on Sunday afternoons and consist of Yorkshire Pudding is very common on Sundays, it is not usually eaten as a dessert like other puddings but instead as part of the maine course as a starter of the meal. It is made from flour, eggs and milk; the batter is baked in the oven.

When the meal is over another kind of pudding with ice cream is generally served as a dessert.

Typical meats for roasting are joints of beef, pork, lamb or a whole chicken. More rarely duck, turkey or game are eaten. Meat is eaten with different kinds of sauces.
