Analysis of Poetry

It’s made up of a stanza of four lines. Lines have a regular length and they begin with capital letters. There is a regular punctuation and a rhyme scheme (ABAB). There is a run-on line (line 3) and there is a simile, too: “strewing the grass as for a wedding” (line 3).
The poet uses a nice thing to describe a bad one (the cherry threes- the death). He describes a rug of flower that is not there to celebrate something happy but this death. On the whole, in my opinion this poem is very nice. It gives me a sense of peace and melancholy.
