What is the Importance of Grandmother?
My grandmother is one of the most important persons in my life. She’s almost 80 years old but she's as healthy as if she was at least twenty years younger. She also looks younger is it wasn't for the white hair that she dyes like this on her own choice. She has lived a long life that has made her wise and experienced. She never went to school so she didn’t receive any proper education. And yet she’s smart and always finds her way to achieve what she needs or to sort out problems that may arise. She lived through the war and learned to handle herself during one of the hardest times in history. She saw both her parents die, she raised her two kids while her husband, my grandfather, was at war. She has a great experience of life and all her effort has been rewarded with our numerous and happy family.
Adapting to Change
She’s always there for me if I have some problems. Well, she’s helpful on the personal stuff, but totally clueless when it comes to technology, computers and so on. And who can blame her. When she was born, they still use to move around with horses. She once told me that her family and a small horse-drawn carriage. She really has seen the world change, but she adapted and lived through it and she’s here now with a good word for everyone. I really love and respect my grandmother!
