- Aggiungere "es" ai verbi che terminano in "x", "ch", "sh", "o" (es. go → goes, kiss → kisses).
- Cambiare la "y" in "i" e aggiungere "es" ai verbi che terminano in "y" preceduta da una consonante (es. study → studies).
- Il verbo "to have" alla terza persona diventa "has" (es. "He has a new sister!").
- I verbi modali (may, must, can) rimangono invariati (es. "He can play football.").
