Production of sex cells

Every normal mature man and woman produce a sec cell. The male sec cells are called sperms (spermatozoa). They are produced in the testis. They pass through the sperm ducts (vas deferens). They are passed out through the penis. The female sex cell is called ovum or egg. It is produced by the ovary. There are two ovaries in a woman.
Each ovary produces an ovum every month. The prices of producing an ovum by the ovary is called ovulation. If there is a sexual relationship or intercourse between a man and a woman at the period when the ovum is produced, the sperm will fertilize the ovum.

The result is pregnancy. If there is no sexual relationship, the released ovum will die off in a day or two. Then menstruation will occur. Menstruation is the flow of blood which each normal woman of child-bearing age experiences every month, unless she is pregnant.

What are the signs and perceptions of pregnancy?

Signs of pregnancy:

The following signs show that a woman is pregnant:

1. Menstruation stops.

2. Breasts become fuller and tender. Nipples become darker.

3. Nausea and vomiting (morning sickness) may occur, especially in the mornings.

4. There may be frequent urination.

5. The abdomen enlarges from about 3 months.

6. As the pregnancy advances, the mother may feel the baby's movements.

Most people, especially the uneducated people, see pregnancy as a sort of disease and illness but pregnancy is one of the greatest experience that could occur in a woman's life. Although child-bearing is a difficult process and in some cases it might even lead to the woman's death due to complications after delivery, it still remains the biggest achievement for every women that desired having a child.
