The mediterranean diet help sto improve the health and well-being of every human being and also makes one live longer. Recently it has been discovered that countries that border the mediterranean sea exhibit loe rates of heart disease compared to Americano and others.

This diet consists mostly in grains, fruits, beans and vegetables. This style of eating also includes little meat and plenty amount of olive oil (is better to take in insaturated fat than the saturated one because this may cause heart attack, ictus, and even increase the cholesterol levels). One item commonly found in the mediterranean dishes is garlic and it is used while cooking because it may help prevent blood clots, lower the cholesterol level and protect against having cancer.
