Two years ago, in July, my family decided to spend the summer vacation in Sardinia for a week. My brother Vincenzo, my mother and my father and me, left early in the morning to reach the port of Civitavecchia, where a ship would have ferried up in Sardinia, Costa Smeralda destination. The crossing took 5 hours, we had a bit 'of seasickness, but we were bored a lot because the ship had several amusements, shops, a library, a room to play cards, bars, etc.. We arrived at the port of Porto Cervo and after a few hours or a few minutes by car, do not remember, we arrived at our campsite is beautiful, not a single building but many small houses are single-family detached stone or beige camouflage perfectly with the rocky landscape and green around. The houses are not an attack to the other, persons and buildings seem to any place is very large, is a small village modern yet ancient time. Walking further on to the swimming pool, bar, small park and the stage where every night is held cabaret shows really fun. The next morning we went to sea in a different place each time, twice we went to two small beaches you can walk to nearby, one of which must climb to reach the rocks, and other times we took the car and we went largest and most popular beaches such as that of Stintino, where he was not even a place to put the umbrella, but the beach was a very fine sand and the sea was crystal clear. The meals had to do them in our house, and mainly in the afternoon we went swimming but also sometimes in the shops in the village forever. The evening after dinner we went to see the cabaret shows and then all to bed. All week there was a tremendous wind, one evening we had to go see the show equipped with heavy sweaters and blankets! Past seven days the time came to return home and after another 5 hours by boat and some by car, we got tired for the trip home.
