allora ho dovuto fare una specie di breve commento di due brani del "paradise lost" di john milton...per favore qualcuno li può correggere?? thanks!

1)
In this passage of Paradise Lost is introduced Satan, one of the most character of the poem. The most important characteristics of Satana emerge here. For example he's very proud and ambitious because he plans to fight against God. For persecute his objective he invites the rebel angels to join forces, so they fight near Satan in a final attempt to reconquer Heaven and to defeat God. The ambition of Satan is underlined by a sentence that he pronunces: "better to reign Hell than serve in Heaven". Infact, this sentence point out the Satan's desire to have power. He appears happy to govern the Hell that for him become a pleased place. In this passage is described the Hell, too. It's a terrible place where rules the evil and the dark that concern not only the infernal atmposphere but also the darkness of the souls of the damned, in opposition to Heaven, where rules the happiness.

2)
This passage starts with a lot of appellatives, which describe Eve. They underline the Adam's love and the fact that he is obsessed with Eve almost to the point of idolizing her. Infact she's described as divine, good, sweet, beautiful, the best creation that God has done. Adam appears more reflectve than Eve because he knows that she yelded to transgress, eating the forbidden fruit. But in spite of this consciusness, he decides to do the same thing. Adam, infact, can't live without her, he can't leave her beloved, so he follows Eve, accepting a fatal destiny, disobeying God.

In this passage of "Paradise Lost" Satan, one of the most important character of the poem, is introduced. Some of the most considerable characteristics of Satana emerge here. For example, he's very proud and ambitious because he plans to fight against God. For persecuting his purpose he invites the rebel angels to join forces (??), so they fight with Satan in a final attempt to reconquer Heaven and to defeat God. The ambition of Satan is underlined by a sentence that he pronunces: "better to reign Hell than serve in Heaven". As a matter of fact, this sentence points out Satan's desire to have power. (o "to be powerful";) He appears to be happy to govern Hell ,which becomes a comfortable place for him. Moreover, in this passage, Hell is described too. It's a terrible place where evil rules and the dark concerns not only the infernal atmposphere but also the essence of damned souls, in opposition to Heaven, where happiness dominates
